Absolutely. It's the perfect location for your family glamping holiday. School holidays are very popular so it's best to book in with us as early as possible, especially over the Summer holiday season. Our Roundhouse Cabin can sleep up to seven and each of the Yurts have accomodation for five. A cot bed and high chair are also available if required.

Yes, there are two ways to do this. Book with us over winter and you'll be the only guests on site as the Roundhouse is our only accomodation available between October-Easter. Or, if you're planning a family celebration or larger get-together, book our Roundhouse and both Yurts to cater for up to 17 guests. This makes it the ideal venue for a special occasion.

We do not accommodate bookings for large single sex groups such as hen and stag do's. If you are looking for accommodation for 5 or more adults please get in touch with us first so we can discuss your arrangements. If we receive a booking for a large single sex group we may need to cancel your booking and issue a full refund.

+ What can I expect from the compost toilet?

The compost toilet is very pleasant and nothing to be anxious about, in fact 100% of our guests when asked said it met or exceeded their expectations! The yurts have a private compost toilet alongside and Willow Roundhouse has an ensuite compost toilet. You'll find a normal toilet seat with a urine separator towards the front and a bucket at the back for solids and toilet paper, which is all cleaned and fresh prior to your arrival. We provide sawdust for sprinkling in the bucket as well as toilet roll, hand soap and a hand towel. A hand pump tap provides water for the sink in the yurts and in the Roundhouse an electric foot button on the floor turns the water on. There are lights and instructions to reassure you that you're using it correctly. The key thing is for men to sit down so that the urine separator is used and to make sure young children sit far enough back.

+ What lighting is there when it gets dark?

Willow Roundhouse has a full 12V solar system providing lighting whenever you want it. There are lights throughout the space all provided by a solar panel and battery.

Our yurts have solar lighting. This includes fairy lights, bedside lights and a light above the kitchen and dining table, these lights are on a sensor and will only work from dusk onwards. We also provide tea lights and torches. There are also path lights outside the yurt compost toilets.

There is a light on the outside of the shower building that stays on all night as well as lights at the washing up sink.

+ How far away from each other are the yurts & roundhouse?

Oak Tree and Hazelnut Yurts are 80m apart across the meadow. Oak Tree Yurt is 40m from the Roundhouse. Having our accommodation at these distances ensures that our guests have privacy and plenty of space for relaxing.

The shower building is 100-140m from the glamping accommodation and there are grass paths providing good access.

+ What if we need help or there is an emergency?

We live onsite near to the car park and there is normally someone on hand if you need help with anything. If you run out of anything let us know and we'll restock you as soon as possible, including logs, kindling, sawdust and toilet paper. There are instructions for what to do in an emergency in your accommodation and at emergency points. The nearest hospital, Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, is 20 minutes drive away in case of a medical emergency.
