Our Philosophy

Round the Woods family Feb 18.jpg

Inspired by a lifelong interest in the environment, outdoor living and self-sufficiency we set up Round the Woods as a way of combining our passions with spending more time as a family together on the land.

We want to share our beautiful site with you - our aim is to give you a relaxing holiday in our luxury yurts so you have the opportunity to explore and make happy memories.

We pride ourselves on providing a warm welcome and making our guests feel right at home here - nothing is too much trouble. We aim to exceed your expectations.

We love everything about yurts - the beautiful shape, the amazing sense of space inside, the natural light, and the low impact nature of them. We hope you will fall in love with our yurts during your stay with us.

We encourage our guests to explore the woodland, wildlife meadow and grassland and to appreciate the wide variety of wildlife to be found at Round the Woods and all that the site has to offer.

We have a smallholding with an abundance of vegetables, soft fruits and an orchard with chickens and geese roaming free under the fruit trees. We hope you will enjoy exploring our site.

We have taken great care to design comfort and luxury into our yurts so that our guests can truly relax - think super comfy king size beds, roaring log fires and indulgent bedding. We like to think we've thought of everything so you can have a stress-free stay knowing the essentials are taken care of including all cooking and dining items and even logs for the fire.

We look forward to welcoming you to Round the Woods so you can relax, reconnect and explore.
