The Fox in Lyng is finalist for national awards
Delicious food no matter the occassion

We’re so incredibly proud of Victoria and Gavin Hunt, owners of The Fox pub in Lyng for being finalists for the Licensee of the Year Award with the British Institute of Innkeepers.

And boy do we love their pub!

It’s just a 5 minute drive from Round the Woods and our lucky guests can get a 10% discount off their amazing food (grab a discount card from the shower building). Or if you’re not in a rush its a really lovely hour long walk along the Wensum Way and back. We often combine a meal there with a walk around Sparham Pools, a lovely lakeside nature reserve run by Norfolk Wildlife Trust.

Street food on Mondays at the Fox in Lyng

Not only is the food reliably delicious and really good value for money they’re also brilliant for families, offering food from 12-9pm most days of the week.

The only day they don’t serve food is Mondays and to ensure we don’t all go hungry they organise a different street food van to set up shop in the beer garden during the spring and summer months. The variety is amazing, this year’s tasteful delights including Caribbean, Thai, fish & chips, pies, vegan and Indian specialities. Check out their facebook page to see whose there each week.
